ESL Jobs Abroad - Thailand, China, South Korea
ESL Jobs are lucrative opportunities for travelers who want to learn, earn
and travel at the same time. The English teaching jobs can be taken in
various parts of the world mostly in the non English speaking countries. The
ESL teachers who wish to teach English as Second Languages must have an
accredited TEFL/CELTA/TESOL certificate. The candidates who have a degree
and teaching experience will be able to bag a better ESL job.
The teachers are usually given good money which helps them in sponsoring
their trip. In some of the countries the pay is even higher which helps the
ESL teachers make a career out of it and even make some savings. While
working as ESL teacher in the foreign country it is possible to see and
experience the culture of that society upfront.
The payment of the ESL teachers differs from country to country and region
to region. In the Middle Eastern countries and in some Asian countries the
payment given to the teachers are comparatively high. Many schools give
extra facilities to the teachers like accommodation, flight fare and
sightseeing.
Sometimes the TESOL teachers are not only expected to teach the students but
they have to give English tuitions to their local colleagues. The teachers
have to participate in all the special school activities with their
colleagues apart from the classes. The teachers can also earn by taking
tuitions of other students in the schools permits.
Before taking up an ESL job in the foreign countries, the teachers have to
make sure they sign a legal contract and have a work permit. Though it
possible to do ESL jobs without any contract it might later lead to major
legal problem, so it is better to avoid.
