Korean Language
One will notice the spirit of unity among the Koreans in their unified language. All Koreans speak one language, the Korean language. Koreans are bit different from the other Asian people in their distinctive physical characteristics. They put up a strong cultural identity as one Korean family.
More than 65 million people living on the peninsula speak Korean language. Apart from this 5.5 million Korean living in other parts of the world also speak Korean. Korean language is both the spoken and written language of the nation and it is this factor which helps them to build a strong national identity. With time and globalization different dialects are also coming in. People of Seoul and central areas have different dialects but they are not that different that other Koreans cannot communicate with them.
Very few people in Korea can actually communicate in English but the government schools are promoting this language as the second language. This is why, Korea offers an amazing scope to the ESL teachers having TESOL certifications from American TESOL Institute.
